From Weimar-era cabaret to glam rock; 60’s diva ballads to original songs, international cabaret star Sven Ratke crosses musical genres and traverses decades with panache. Ratzke is accompanied by his longtime collaborator, jazz pianist Charly Zastrau.

Ratzke is based in Amsterdam where he regularly plays the city’s most prestigious venues and tours extensively throughout the year in The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. He regularly appears in New York at Cafe Sabarsky and Joe’s Pub; hosted the late night cabaret at The Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh; and made his critically acclaimed Australian debut at Adelaide Cabaret Festival last year. In addition to his own work, he stars as Hedwig in the Dutch/German production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
