A special holiday performance supported by Target(R)
David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, Frieda and Roy Furman Stage

Art Baron is well known as one of the youngest members of Duke Ellington’s Orchestra, and played trombone with the Duke during his last years touring before he passed away. Art’s wonderful and imaginative style honors all that is great about Ellington’s music, while infusing his own twist and his own voice.

Art has performed with Duke Ellington, Stevie Wonder, and Bruce Springsteen to name a few. He is a composer and arranger and has had several commissions, including Jazz at Lincoln Center, MOBI New Music Ensemble, and the New York Composers’ Orchestra, and dance ensembles, including Martitat Goshen’s Earthworks.

He is bringing some of his nearest and dearest jazz-friends together for a fun filled evening of Jazz music, Baron-style.

Presented in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center
